Holly Shervey is an actress and

writer from Te Wai Pounamu.

Since graduating from one of New Zealand's leading drama schools, Holly has appeared in numerous prime-time local and international screen productions, and created over 100 episodes of her own award-winning shows — ‘Auckward Love’ and ‘Millennial Jenny’.

Holly has most recently played an episodic lead in the murder mystery series ‘The Brokenwood Mysteries’ set to air mid-2024, and guest roles in TVNZ’s drama series ‘Ahikāroa’, and TV Three’s new comedy series ‘Vince’, both set to screen later this year.

Other notable screen credits include Apple TV’s creature horror ‘The Tank’, Amazon Prime's ‘American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story’, award-winning drama ‘Head High’, and comedy-drama ‘Double Parked’ for TV Three.

Writer

As a writer, Holly is developing several projects, including three television series’ - a dark comedy set in rural New Zealand, the broadcast-length version of her single-camera comedy series, ‘Millennial Jenny’, and a psychological thriller set in her hometown of Queenstown.

As Holly creates content, she is always looking for stronger storytelling opportunities to enrich the experience of her intended audience.
